A client in international banking needed awareness-level training to introduce key aspects of a new customer platform to all employees. Their request of Actio was to create a series of short, on-brand explainer videos that were visually interesting, engaging, and professional—and delivered clear, concise messages about the platform. And to do it fast.
Under tight turnaround times, we reviewed client documentation, created storyboards and initial video scripts. Because these products were more like communication than training, we omitted learning objectives and knowledge checks. A client leader provided the voice narration to reinforce leadership’s commitment to the new direction and reinforce its value to the organization and employees. We developed videos using the commercially available authoring platforms Powtoon and Camtasia, utilizing stock animations, imagery, and video. The final series of MP4 files was loaded to internal SharePoint sites and was added to launch and roll out communications and received great reviews from leadership.
